If you are already familiar with Kalpkarika, you probably know us for our premium DIY kits, carefully structured online workshops, and polished finished artworks. But as any artist knows, the final piece you see hanging on the wall is only about 10% of the actual story.
The other 90%? It is filled with spilled texture paste, concrete mixes that didn't quite cure right, wax drying at the wrong temperature, and a whole lot of trial and error! 🙈💥
I decided to create Kalpkarika Unfiltered because I wanted a space to take the frame off the art. I want to share the messy, beautiful, and sometimes chaotic reality of being a working artist, an educator, and a small business owner. 🌿✨

🌸 The Art Forms: From mastering concrete art and candle making to experimenting with gold leaf painting, Lippan art, mirror mosaics, moon lamp making, and acrylics. We are going to explore it all!
✨ The Learning Curve: I am going to share my first attempts at new crafts—including the mistakes. Because if there is one thing I want my students to know, it's that everyone starts somewhere, and making a mess is a mandatory part of the creative process! 🛠️❤️
💼 The Business of Handmade: For my fellow creators out there, I will be sharing transparent insights into running a handmade business. We’ll talk about how to price your work, how to package fragile items, and how to build a brand without losing your mind.
